The Sapphire Pegasus Award recognizes and honors outstanding performances by companies and individuals in Business Aviation. Most of the nominations were for companies; several were for individual professionals. The Sapphire Pegasus Award trophies will be presented to the winners on May 29, the first day of EBACE in Room #1 of the conference area at 13:00. The presentations are moderated by the well-known British Toastmaster Richard Birtchnell.

This year, we had another significant increase in number of nominations and online votes to almost 60,000, which clearly indicates that the interest in recognizing professionals for their outstanding performances is appreciated and more than justified,” commented Antonia Lukacinova, founder of Sapphire Pegasus Awards. “I am very pleased about this year’s high turnout. The 74 international nominees clearly indicate that the Award has earned its respect and value in the industry. There is a wide geographic spread for the nominations. Of the fifteen different award categories, ‘FBO & Service Providers’ and ‘Innovations’.”

Speaking about the Sapphire Pegasus Awards BACA Chairman Richard Mumford said “I look forward to seeing a very successful Awards presentation at EBACE and congratulate all finalists on being shortlisted.”

The shortlisted finalists of the Sapphire Pegasus Awards have been announced and can be seen by visiting the website www.spbaa.com. The combined scoring of the advisory board and the online voting have been added together to create a shortlist of worthy finalists. The selection process by the Board of Advisors, consisting of eight judges who independently make their decisions, guarantees high objectivity and integrity. It aims to make it indisputable that the most exceptional performers will be honored. The Awards have been accepted as an asset of its own kind in the industry and already finds worldwide attention. The professional Business Aviation organizations EBAA, BACA, CEPA, WCA and AFBAA are supporting partners of the Sapphire Pegasus Award.
